Our class 7 knowledge test prep Edmonton course costs $150 plus GST and helps you prepare for the Alberta learners test. City Driving School is an Alberta Transportation approved driving school and has taught new drivers since 2009. More than 6,000 students have passed with us.
The class is taught in person by instructors certified by Alberta Transportation, men and women. It suits people writing the test for the first time and people preparing for a second attempt.
Once you hold your Class 7 licence, the Full Course picks up where the class leaves off. It gives you 15 hours of theory and 10 hours in the car.

How to book
Your details. Go to booking and enter your name, email, phone, address, gender and Class 7 licence number. If you do not hold a Class 7 licence yet, call (780) 965-1151 before you book.
Pick your area. Choose from Edmonton South, Beaumont, Edmonton Downtown, Edmonton North or Sherwood Park.
Pick your course. Select the knowledge test prep class.
Pay and attend. Pay online by PayPal or pay at the office, then agree to the terms. You get a confirmation email. If you chose pay at the office, your booking shows payment pending. If you move on to in-car lessons later, pickup and drop-off are free inside our service areas.

How do I study for my learner's licence?
Our Class 7 Learner Preparation class is taught in person by an instructor certified by Alberta Transportation. You work through the material in a classroom and can ask questions as you go, instead of studying on your own.
Where can I study for my learner's licence in Edmonton?

How do I get my learner's licence?
Class 7 is the Alberta learner licence and Class 5 is the full licence. Our class prepares you for the Class 7 knowledge test, and once you hold the licence you can book in-car lessons with us.

With us, every instructor is certified by Alberta Transportation, and the team includes men and women. You can ask for a female instructor when you book. In-car lessons are in the school's car, with free pickup and drop-off inside our service areas.
How do I start driving lessons?
Go to booking, enter your details, pick your area and course, then pay online by PayPal or choose pay at the office. You can also call (780) 965-1151 or (780) 469-1152. Give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel, or a $100 charge applies, and there is no refund once training starts.
