What the price includes
When people ask how much is driving school in Edmonton, they often forget what the price covers. Every in-car lesson price above includes the following. Car Use for Road Test is the car only, at the registry on test day.
- The school car. Every in-car lesson is in our car, so you do not need your own.
- Free pickup and drop-off. Inside the service areas, a lesson starts and ends at your door, at no extra charge.
- A certified instructor. Our instructors are certified by Alberta Transportation, and we have men and women on the team.
Full Course prices also cover the 15 hours of theory, in class or online.
Bring your Class 7 licence to every lesson. If you arrive without it, the booked hours are lost.
The 5% GST
Every course price in this post is plus 5% GST. That is 5 cents on every dollar. When you book online, the form shows the price, the GST and the total before you pay. There is nothing else to add.
Three fees to know before you book
Three fees can apply to a lesson or a certificate. Our terms page lists every charge, and you can avoid all three.
- Late cancellation, $100. Give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel a lesson. With less notice, a $100 charge applies.
- Class test rewrite, $25. If you need to sit the class test again, the rewrite costs $25.
- Duplicate certificate, $50. If you lose your certificate, a copy costs $50.
Once training starts, there is no refund, so choose your course with care. So how much is driving school in Edmonton once fees are counted? Keep your bookings, pass the class test and keep your certificate safe, and it is the course price plus GST.
